Timberwood Lodge is a small (8 unit) assisted living facility that puts patients and families first. My Dad was at Timberwood for a few months, and was then able to transition home for a while. When it came time to permanent move to assisted living, my mother and I were very happy to find that Timberwood had a room available. The rooms are good sized, bright, and homey. Each room has a private bath. The care that my father was given was outstanding. Jim, Nick, and all of the caregivers went out of their way to make sure that he had not only what he needed, but things that he wanted. Timberwood Lodge is a family oriented facility, not only for the residents, but for the families of the residents as well.

I am a current resident at Timberwood. I like this facility and think it is clean. I also get good care. I enjoy the food here and how much the home grills out for their residents. I also like the garden boxes I plant vegetables in the summer.

The facility is well cared for. The staff is good. I know they struggle like all facilities right now in getting good workers. My brother is lactose intolerant and they do a good job of providing him with food he can eat and enjoy. I fell Timberwood has been a good fit for my brother and would recommend it.

When the time came to find Mom a facility to care for her advanced age and dementia, it was heartbreaking. Dad died in a nursing home, so we were familiar with how “institutional” they can feel. Timberwood Lodge was Heaven sent. They are only a family of individuals who care for each other.

My mother’s stay at Timberwood Assisted Living was a positive experience made possible by a caring administrator (Nick), owner (Jim), a caring nurse (Jean), and a caring, rotating staff. They all made Mom feel at home, and they truly bent over backwards to accommodate Mom’s neds and requests. For example, when they heard that Mom loved BINGO, Christine went out of her way to provide BINGO games. Also, the facility’s hands on approach to care was helpful in spotting immediate health concerns, which were then related to me and health officials outside of the facility. I appreciate all of the extra effort that Timberwood displayed in caring for my mother. Thanks so much, Timberwood Lodge!!

Love this place super low key place. The Management is super nice and courteous. Great place to stay and won’t break the pocket. Highly recommend 👍

Great attention to resident’s needs and their individual interests. Very comfortable ‘home-like’ setting with caring and kind staff.

I would highly recommend the Timberwood Lodge Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Place is clean. My Mom is very well taken care of. The place now has a dog, which my Mom likes a lot.

They really focus on the individual needs and interests of each resident. They go above and beyond to offer a homelike setting, but also include little luxuries, such as dining out, boating and other fun outings. The care team is very helpful and kind.
