Jim Bachmann founded Timberwood Lodge with a clear purpose: to create a place where people feel cared for, respected, and truly at home. With decades of success as a business owner and a strong foundation in leadership, Jim brings both strategic insight and genuine compassion to everything he builds. His approach blends sound business principles with a deep belief that people always come first.
Family is at the center of Jim’s life. He is a proud grandfather to five grandchildren and values the importance of connection, trust, and community — the same values that shape Timberwood Lodge. Jim believes the most successful organizations are built not only on strong operations, but on heart, integrity, and relationships that last.
You’ll often see Jim at the Lodge, visiting with residents and families, and staying closely connected to the community he helped create.
Mariah Carey, Assistant Director

Mariah Carey serves as Assistant Director, bringing a compassionate, hands-on approach to leadership grounded in extensive experience across assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation, and hospice care. She is deeply people-focused and known for building strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and staff.
With a strong background in medication management and care coordination, Mariah plays a key role in ensuring residents receive safe, thoughtful, and individualized care. She understands that quality care is not only about clinical excellence, but also about empathy, communication, and respect.
